Training
The asset integrity division provides a range of training courses including rope access, confined space, working at heights and standby rescue at their dedicated training facilities in Balcatta.
As a full member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA), the division is certified to train personnel to all levels of IRATA rope access qualifications for offshore and onshore environments. All training is performed by experienced and fully certified Level III Rope Access Trainers and assessments are carried out by an independent assessor in accordance with IRATA guidelines.
The training facilities in Balcatta simulate scenario’s a rope access technician is likely to encounter in the field by utilising pipe work, hatches and exposed steel.
Neptune currently has a number of positions available on their IRATA Rope Access Courses (for levels 1, 2 and 3 technicians). Course dates for the remainder of 2010 are as follows:
- 9th August 2010
- 20th August (1 day refresher course)
- 23rd August 2010
- 11th October 2010
- 15th November 2010
- 6th December 2010
The IRATA Rope Access courses run for 5 days and include 4 days of training and a full day assessment on the final day. To find out more information or enrol on a course please contact:
