The latest ROV acquisition, which was for a seven figure sum, forms part of the company’s strategic ‘One Neptune’ growth plan and brings the total number of work class ROVs within Neptune’s fleet to 15.
The two fully refurbished 150 HP TMRV systems are both rated to 3,000m, come with a Tether Management System and provide Neptune with the capability to perform a broad range of ROV tasks including pipeline surveys, Inspection Repair and Maintenance operations, drill support and heavy duty construction operations.
Scott Freeland, ROV & Survey General Manager at Neptune in the UK said: “Neptune currently undertakes a wide range of intervention and subsea survey activities on a global basis in the Oil & Gas and Renewable sectors and these latest acquisitions will play an integral role in allowing the company to support our current and future clients and their operations. This acquisition allows Neptune to offer its clients a flexible and cost effective solution, from free flying WROVs to TMS based WROVs”.
The first vehicle is available for works at the end of February, with the second vehicle scheduled for delivery mid-March. Neptune are welcoming all enquires for work.
